OMKARRA is a gripping story of love, power, and the cost of freedom. This bold, collaborative reimagining of Othello and Omkara explores betrayal, intimacy, and survival through a contemporary lens.

Created by the artists of Theatre Ya Knowww, this open-air production fuses movement, text, and music in a visceral performance that asks: What does it mean to be seen, misjudged, or rewritten?

Set in the summer heat of Vaughan, OMKARRA is a reflection on identity, patriarchy, and the politics of perception—anchored in the voices of emerging artists and built through collective process.
