National Day for Truth & Reconciliation

Community members are invited to attend a meaningful concert featuring Indigenous musicians, speakers and drummers at the King Heritage & Cultural Centre on Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. Attend the free gathering presented by #KingTownship in partnership with the @indigenousactioncommittee to commemorate #NationalDayForTruthAndReconciliation and #OrangeShirtDay for the chance to:

🏛️ Tour the museum’s Indigenous artifact collection

🎨View the new Truth and Reconciliation Mural, painted by Indigenous artist @shawnhowe_

🧑‍🎨 Design your own stone to be added to the Indigenous Medicine Garden

🧡 Free food and refreshments

Pre-Registration not required. Drop-in 6PM-8PM.
