Movie Night!

There is an “engaging and enraging” film shown at the Vassalboro Grange!

Join us this Friday, August 22 at 6 pm. “A Place at the Table” explains with devastating simplicity why so many go hungry in a country with more than enough food to go round.

Afterwards there will be a brief forum about the local perspective with the 3 above groups speaking.

Our purpose is to gather both those involved in providing solutions to the food insecurity problem with those who are curious about what they can do locally to help.

Please consider who in your neighborhood or local network might be interested and personally invite them to join you or just come.

This is not a fundraiser, but a motivational event to get our community to work together on Food Insecurity around us. It is sponsored thanks to the Rural Life Initiative, a program of the National Grange.

This collaborative showing is cosponsored with the Central Maine Gleaners Group, the United Methodist Church and the local Food Pantry.
