The Facial Treatments Course is a comprehensive and hands-on educational program designed to empower aspiring skin therapist with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the world of aesthetics. Through a combination of theoretical instruction and working on live models, students learn to perform a variety of facial treatments all while adhering to industry best practices such as cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, and mask application. With a focus on the latest trends and innovations in skincare, this course equips students with the expertise needed to provide clients with customised and rejuvenating facial experiences, fostering both beauty and confidence.
Provide facial treatments including mini, basic and deluxe facials
Extractions
Facial peels
Facial massage techniques
Use of facial equipment including Woods lamps, brush machine and LED machines
Apply knowledge of skin biology and science to facial treatments
Develop a treatment plan
Client home care
Workplace health and safety
Hygiene requirements and standards
Prerequisites: Skin Analysis (1/2 Day course offered by Profile) or Skin Science course
