Pack in the Park is a FREE to community event for dog owners and their dogs.
Through exposure training, your dog will learn to focus on you even through distractions and they will make positive associations with things like other dogs, people and environments.
Pack in the Park is owner-led but supervised by Certified Trainer Shannon Joe.
RULES:
1. All dogs must be on leash (NO extendible leashes)
2. Owners must pick up after dogs (poop bags are provided in public parks, but please get in the habit of bringing your own).
3. NO face-to-face meetings between dogs. This is not a doggy play date. You may arrange with other dog owners for meet-ups, but Pack in the Park is not the place for it.
4. If your dog is uncomfortable (barking, whining, not listening) it means you need to create space between others and your dog.
5. This is not an obedience class. I often will give tips here and there, but I am not there to teach you how to train your dog. If you are interested in learning from me, please get in touch to schedule a training session one-to-one!
