On Thursday, November 11th in Vancouver, the South African Film Festival (SAFF) is excited to host an in-person screening of The Last Ranger followed by The Friendship Bench.
Included in the price of admission is a grab bag with some South African snacks.
Proceeds from this event are in support of Education without Borders.

THE FRIENDSHIP BENCH
The heartwarming and insightful documentary, The Friendship Bench, tracks the implementation of a unique mental health program: the deployment of gogos (grandmothers) to counsel those in need of support.
THE LAST RANGER
A powerful short film, nominated for a Best Short Film Academy Award, shot in the Amakhala Game Reserve in the Northern Cape. When young Litha is introduced to the magic of a game reserve by the last remaining ranger, they are ambushed by poachers. In the ensuing battle to save the rhinos, Litha discovers a terrible secret.
