At Copley Community Orchard on Monday July 28th, we are so fortunate to share the delightful music and dancing of the Tiddley Cove Morris at 7:30pm.

"Tiddley Cove Morris Dancers & Musicians is a diverse and welcoming Morris dance and live musicians group. Established in 1986, we are based in East Van, BC, Canada (not the semi-fictional Tiddley Cove, but the name was too much fun to pass up!) We welcome new members. You certainly don’t have to be English (most of us aren't!), just enthusiastic, energetic and willing to have fun with a great community.
Morris dancing is an ancient English tradition, reinterpreted with a contemporary West Coast twist. We play music, dance and sing, do mummers' plays and wassail apple trees, performing in public and also just for ourselves. Today, Morris is performed all over the world: energetic dance and music celebrating the seasons and local food growing. This tradition is part of a worldwide family of ritual ceremonial dances sharing the common features of colour, vitality, disguise, patterned choreography and processions."

As you may know, Copley Community Orchard relies on donations to sustain its operations since it is not a City of Vancouver park. The orchard's funding comes from grants and contributions, making your support invaluable. If you are able to contribute, online donations are preferred, but we also accept cash for your convenience.
The suggested donation for the season is $20.00 to $50.00 or $5.00 per event.
