Take Root - Take Action

"Take Root. Take Action" is a free, hands-on community workshop focused on ecological restoration and environmental stewardship at Copley Community Orchard's Forest Garden.

A huge thanks to Neighbourhood Small Grants for supporting this event!!

Participants are invited to roll up their sleeves and work together to:
Remove invasive plants that threaten the local ecosystem
Plant native species that support biodiversity and habitat regeneration
Celebrate community with shared food and connection

Led by facilitators Chloe Lee-Fraizer and Favour Onosemuode, the event encourages collaboration, learning, and care for the land.

We have the tools and snacks—just bring your heart and a willingness to act.
