Summer's Brother will be playing their biggest show yet headlining at the Wise Hall to celebrate the release of their debut EP, "Class Clown".
This show will be a clown-punk-themed so people are encouraged to get creative with their outfits and makeup :)
"Class Clown" is a collection of five songs written and recorded in the past five years of the bands career, recorded by three producers in three separate studios, growing bigger as the band goes through it's journey. From solo project to quickly blossoming into a collaborative effort, Summer's Brother features some Vancouver's best musicians on the EP including Thomas Rink, Caleb Sanders, Martin Grice (Garden Mice), Elias Cerpa, Leo D.E. Johnson, and many more.

Dwi:
While usually playing bass for The Zolas, when the 2020 global pandemic saw the world stop, Dwi took the time to create something new, exciting and deeply personal. The songs are reflective in nature, and touch on a range of topics, including childhood, environmentalism, addiction, and the political landscape of the world. An admiration to musical heroes such as The Beatles, Damon Albarn, and The Cure is clear, along with some unusual and unique aspects that are perhaps harder to place.

Dead Summer is an energetic, hard-hitting rock duo from Victoria,
BC. Formed in 2024 by Nate Prevedoros and Michael Wilford,
their sound pulls from bands like Royal Blood and The White
Stripes, evoking their raw energy, but with added pop sensibility
and sharp, hook-driven songwriting.
Dead Summer writes music that demands attention. Their
debut single, Bloom, and upcoming release Melodramatic are
built for sweaty crowds and powerful sound systems. Pushing
the limits of what two musicians can sound like, they utilize
every tool at their disposal to create a layered and dynamic
sonic experience and an impressive live show. At a Dead
Summer show you can expect punchy riffs, huge choruses and
tight, heavy rock played like it matters.
