Join a community event hosted by the Community Legal Assistance Society (CLAS) and the Vancouver Aboriginal Violence Prevention Program (VAVPP). We will focus on how NDA's (nondisclosure agreements) are used to cover up sexual harrassment, assault, and discrimination in workplaces and organizations.
Community members can share their experiences and perspectives, learn about how NDAs work and your rights, ask questions, and help shape law and policy by providing input to create safe and accountable organizations.
GBV disproportionately affects Indigenous and racialized women and girls and members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community. This workshop is open to anyone who has been impacted by GBV, or anyone interested in these topics.
For more information about this project, visit CLAS's website: https://clasbc.net/get-legal-help/stand-informed-legal-advice-services/speak-out/

Tickets for Speak Out Workshop and Consultation: Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and NDAs can be booked here.
