Local singer-songwriter, Alex Badger joins Toronto-based, electronic-hardware artist, Moonbean, and alternative-pop siren, SIESKI, for a night of magnetism at Green Auto on May 31st.

With vocals that shimmer and lyrics that linger, SIESKI crafts soundscapes that are both deeply personal and otherworldly. A queer theatre artist turned indie-pop siren, SIESKI delivers an 'auditory odyssey that heightens your senses and leaves you with an insatiable craving for more” (Earmilk). Highlights include her queer-femme anthem, ‘Lady Deity,’  featured in the Vizzybility Project, curated by season 1 winner of Canada’s Drag Race, Priyanka, Factor-funded music video, ‘Scale Model,' and placement on Exclaim!’s The Eh! Playlist. Come for the vocals—stay for the emotional swirl.

MOONBEAN - a Ontario-based electronic duo who lace their live, synth hardware set with lush vocals. Their psychedelic electronica weaves in acid-house, synth-pop, techno, disco, and their live performance gives off punk energy. Speaking to self-expression and community their lyrics weave mantras to empower their audience. Although their music is electronic, MOONBEAN plays an all-live hardware set leaving room for improvisation, experimentation and audience engagement. Their musical inspirations align with Peaches, Nine Inch Nails, Ladytron and Eurythmics. In the past three years they released their debut EP, toured nationally and internationally and headlined Hillside Festival, Rainbow Trout Festival and Pride Toronto in summer 2024.

Alex Badger

Alex Badger started writing songs when she was 15, and it’s been part of her ever since. It’s how she make sense of the world and stays awake in it. Just over a year ago, she decided it was time to throw caution to the wind and see what could happen if she took her pipe dream voice memos and made them indie rock songs. With a few single releases under her belt like “Sunshine” and “Oregon Coast” (produced by JP Maurice and mixed by Ben Etter), she’s spent the last few months in a home studio working on something special with her close friends. It’s coming soon, and they couldn’t be more ready.
