You don’t have to be French to enjoy pétanque (though it might help with the bragging rights). This casual outdoor game combines just the right amount of skill, strategy, and socializing. Whether you’ve played for years or never touched a boule in your life, this event is about having fun, making connections, and soaking up a summer evening with good company.

Here’s what to expect:

• Friendly matches — no pressure, just fun and maybe a little healthy competition
• Networking opportunities — meet people from across industries, cultures, and backgrounds
• Drinks & snacks included — because pétanque is always better with refreshments
• Boules provided — just bring yourself and your competitive spirit
• All languages welcome — Francos, Anglos, and everyone in between.

This Pétanque Social is organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Western Canada (CCIFWC) — the French Chamber in Western Canada — but you don’t need to be a member to join the fun. Members enjoy special pricing, but only accessed through the Chamber’s website.
