Practice Christmas Bird Count

Interested in the Christmas Bird Count but don't know what to expect?
Join 2025 Christmas Bird Count coordinators Michelle Baudais and Kelvin Yip for a mock/practice CBC at Jericho Beach and surrounding area on Saturday, November 22nd at 9 AM .

This event is intended to give first time counters an idea of what to expect on count day on December 20th. We will briefly go over some basic pointers and some guidelines for the count, then go for a bird walk with an emphasis on surveying/counting birds.

The walk is mostly on flat ground, but we will occasionally wander off of the pathways. If you have any questions, please let us know!
