Port of Vancouver USA Public Tours 2025

Tours are slightly modified this year due to planned renovations of the port's main administration building. Guests will meet in the parking lot of Plastics NW (2801 NW Lower River Rd.) and tour on a bus for a behind-the-scenes tour of the marine terminals and industrial centers that make the Port of Vancouver a major economic engine in Southwest Washington.

You’ll hear about the port’s history, learn what makes a marine terminal tick and find out how over 6 million metric tons of cargo moves in and out of the port every year. You might even catch a glimpse of mobile harbor cranes, trains filled with grain and other imports and exports on the move.

Attendees must bring government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport because they will travel through secured areas of the port overseen by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Reservations are required and spots fill up quickly.

Children age 6 and older are allowed on port tours but must also be registered.
