Cineworks is proud to present ๐๐ซ๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ข๐ฃ, a free collage screening with live scoring by interdisciplinary artist, Anju Singh.
๐๐ซ๐๐ง ๐๐ข๐ข๐ฃ is a collage film that reflects on the concepts of psychological confinement, isolation, and the imposing role of repetition in the human experience, despite awareness of the inevitability of uncertainty. The film explores this repetitive cycle through a series of scenes taken from a selection of sci-fi and horror films to construct a looping maze in an invitation to viewers to contemplate the contradictory relationship between our desire for true freedom and our hesitancy to accept responsibility for our own freedom. The film includes film footage, experimental imagery and editing techniques, mixed media, and an original score that is composed for the film and performed live by Anju Singh.
