Doña Maraca: Queer Salsa Courses (March)

We’re so excited to launch our first-ever QALDV salsa courses!Join us for 4-week-long queer-centred progressive salsa courses and build skills, confidence, and connection on the dance floor! ✨ Two levels:Beginner Salsa: no experience neededImprover Salsa: for dancers with some salsa experience (basic steps and turns)Our 4-week program will give you time learn how to connect to the music and the dance!Spaces are limited due to venue size and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.What to expect:Clear, supportive teaching from experienced instructorsA focus on connection, consent, and joyA welcoming queer-centric environmentPolicy for ProgressivesRefunds & Cancellations: Refunds must be initiated more than 7 days before the start date. Processing fees are non-refundable. Transfers to another person before the course starts may be permitted with admin approval.Level Placement: Participants are responsible for enrolling in the appropriate level. Instructors may recommend a level change after the first class. Please let us know if you have any questions about what level to enrol.We aim to create a welcoming, inclusive, and safer space for all participants. Discriminatory, harassing, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove participants without refund if behaviour compromises safety or community care.Media & Photography: Our classes will be photographed or filmed for promotional use.
