DJ Nomad and the Strictly Comp at Rhythm City Strut

June 19 is the Strictly contest! The third and last in our spring set of friendly low-stakes comps. Here are the details:
It's a strictly, so you enter the contest with a partner. It's a fun way to challenge yourself, and show off what you've been working on. Pre-register with a partner by filling the form in the ticket link. No competition fees. There may also be a chance to sign up at the door.

Prelim at 9:30; final at 10pm

And the rest of the night, enjoy the swinging music of DJ Nomad (Lawrence)!

ADMISSION
• FREE for Intro to Swing students • $5 for RCP students
• $10 at the door. No one turned away for lack of funds.
• Free admission if you've never danced before - bring your friends!
• On a shoestring? Volunteers always dance for free, sign up for a shift at the door!

A portion of our revenue goes to payyourrent.ca, a multi-nation Indigenous-led project to receive payment from settlers. Our classes and events take place on the stolen land of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
