Cowboy Bebop Bebop Band

The Cowboy Bebop Bebop Band features some of Vancouver’s finest young jazz players interpreting music from the 90s cult classic Japanese anime Cowboy Bebop, a futuristic, neo-noir space western about a ragtag group of bounty hunters.

Taking on well-known and obscure numbers from Yoko Kanno’s jazzy, funky, and incredibly catchy original soundtrack, The Cowboy Bebop Bebop Band are led by drummer Steven Zhu, with RJ Abella (trumpet), Gordy Li (soprano and tenor sax), Ma’afu Keteca baritone (sax), Martin Jasinski (guitar), Justin Juan (keyboard and bongos), and Piyotr Kao (bass).
