Do you have an IDEA for an episodic series? Perhaps multiple ideas and aren't sure if they will stick?
Over the past year I've learned that it may be easier to sell an episodic series globally and have a more sustainable career as a filmmaker working in episodic (or episodic + feature).
In this mastermind session, happening twice on Thursday, July 31:
1. The first session #1 from 9am to 11am and
2. The second session #2 from 6:30pm to 8:30pm
Six writers/creators will get together and talk about their ideas to:
A. Get feedback on the idea(s) itself.
B. Go through a mini-development/writer's room session to throw ideas at you to help your series idea.
This is limited to six (6) people per session and everyone will be required to sign an NDA by email prior to coming.
Who is this for? This is for writers who already have a series idea and are working out the pilot, bible, worldbuilding and arc. The group is just there to tell you what we think, whether we think it has legs or not, the onus is on you to run with the ideas (we will do more regular masterminds shortly that you can come to).
If you are interested in coming out, please email me and let me know which session you would like.
There is NO cost to participate but you must buy a drink and food item from the café (two items, i.e. $10 to $12) as we are sitting in their space for this meeting.
