Join us for a special gathering at Locarno Beach for the 8/8 Lionsgate Temple with Nika, Stacia and Jen. The Lionsgate Portal peaks on August 8th when the Sun in Leo aligns with the Blue star Sirius, known in Egypt as the Spiritual Sun, and the constellation of Orion and the pyramids. This opens an energetic gateway for personal expansion, clarity, and heart-led transformation. It’s a powerful time to activate your inner light, connect to divine guidance, and set intentions aligned with your purpose and gifts.
Astrology overview:
The Full Moon in Aquarius on August 9th presents a dynamic tug-of-war between the Sun in Leo and the Moon in Aquarius, pushing us to reconcile personal desires with collective needs.
Leo’s fiery energy seeks recognition, self-expression, and the courage to shine brightly in the world, while Aquarius invites us to consider the bigger picture: what’s best for the group, humanity, and the future. This Full Moon illuminates the question: How do we stay true to our individuality while contributing to the greater good?
In a world often consumed by the need for personal validation, the Aquarius Full Moon asks us to zoom out and look at our role in the collective. It asks us to step back from ego-driven desires (Leo) and consider how we can be of service. Yet, this is not about self-sacrifice but about finding a way to merge authenticity with purpose. It’s a call to lead from the heart (Leo) without losing sight of the larger, visionary goals that Aquarius embodies,innovation, progress, and a more equitable future.
This Full Moon offers an opportunity to break free from outdated narratives of self-worth tied to external validation. Instead, it asks us to illuminate our own path while ensuring it benefits others. It’s a time to shine authentically in the world while also stepping into the role of a change-maker, someone who leads not just for personal gain, but for the upliftment of the whole. Whether through creative expression, community activism, or intellectual breakthroughs, this Full Moon offers a chance to be both a maverick and a visionary.
These circles are a chance to connect deeper with yourself, then with the lovely women who show up. It's always the most synchronous group - we all have something we are similarly experiencing, and it feels so good to be seen in community :)
We will start with a guided meditation connecting with the Pyramids and the healing blue light of Sirius. We will do an energy clearing, followed by a Soundbath to help integrate. This will be followed by a Fire activation, embodiment, sacred movement and dance led by Jen. Moving into group sharing and dyads led by Nika, and closing together.
Please aim to arrive by 6:40pm to attend the energy cleansing with white sage, and to enjoy cacao or rose tea. The circle will begin promptly at 7 pm.
We give gratitude for the Indigenous stewards of this land, before diving into an astrology overview of the energies present. No astrology or full moon knowledge required :) I'll let you know what themes are present - in this case, the Leo-Aquarius polarity (read about that below!) - and we will get into some journal prompts to reflect on how this is showing up in our own lives. We then go into dyad sharing (1:1) and then group shares before closing.
Come alone or with a friend, I promise by the end you will leave feeling more connected with new sisters who are just here to also witness and champion your growth <3

Location: Meet at Locarno Beach Trimble Street Parking Lot, we will have a volunteer to meet you there and guide you to the spot.
What to bring: journal, pen, water bottle. Contribution for the altar if you like (crystals, sage, etc). Maybe a light snack though I will have some cacao for us.
What to wear: comfy outfit that makes you feel your best! light jacket for when the sun goes down. The theme colour this time is blue / purple, for the innovative and airy Aquarius themes :)
Parking: There is free parking at the beach.
