12-week "Artist's Way" Study Group at Actorium

Hey there! Join us for the Artist's Way Study Group happening at Actorium Training. Let's dive into creativity and self-discovery together for 12 weeks first meeting on January 12, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

When: Every Monday evening 7pm-9pm starting on January 12th for 12 weeks. Last meeting March 30th.
Where: Meetings will mostly be online but we meet in person once every month (or beginning of every chapter!)
Cost: $75+fees The price includes 3 months of membership to Actorium with unlimited access to beginner friendly community acting classes, movement classes, meditations and writing sessions.

Artist’s Way is a 12-week study group following the directions of the well-known book “The Artist’s Way” by Julia Cameron.

The book guides readers through a program for “creative recovery” or finding your own way to your inherent creativity.

This course is suitable for every type of artist of any skill level, or simply anyone looking to practice creativity, build confidence, and live a more attentive life.

We will follow the course week by week, practicing daily free writing known as "morning pages", and weekly inner child dates, along with various reflections, writing prompts, and other creative exercises.

After completing the activities, you might find yourself writing poems, drawing, cooking soulful food, singing in the rain, or basically living your life creatively as it already is.

As a group, we'll meet for weekly check-ins to discuss the week's exercises, and support each other as we work through the course and towards our own goals. This will be a non-hierarchical space where every participant will be encouraged to share and listen equally, with respect and compassion towards each other.
