ANDREW FELDMÁR is a renowned Vancouver-based psychologist who has worked as a psychotherapist in private practice for 50 years. He has been trained and supervised in LSD therapy by R. D. Laing in London, England. He studied the anthropology of shamanism with Francis Huxley. He also worked with Stan Grof at the Esalen Institute in California. He teaches, lectures, and leads workshops worldwide. Two organizations, Soteria Foundation and the Feldmar Institute, have been set up in Hungary inspired by Feldmar. He has been featured in such films as Did You Used to Be R. D. Laing?, Neurons to Nirvana, and on the CBC Radio show Ideas. Recently, he has been involved in a research study, sponsored by MAPS, to show the efficacy of MDMA as an adjunct to psychotherapy with severe cases of PTSD.
