How blessed are we to be able to help this happen! As some of y’all may have seen, our dear friend at Oliver Anthony Music is coming to Inez, Ky on May 17th as part of his Rural Revival Concert Series to highlight the plight of rural Appalachia that includes but is certainly not limited to flood and economic struggle. His hope is also to inspire and engage our region in lifting one another which he is certainly gifted in doing! As part of these revival activities, he is always looking to remember and support our veterans, the real hero’s of America. We and an incredible bunch of sponsors get to help that happen!
The day before the concert we will host a ride to raise awareness of veterans causes. Here locally our funds raised will go to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 18 who work so hard to provide for the needs of veterans in Johnson, Floyd and Martin counties up to and including the last military honors for a veteran and their family upon the veterans passing. It is a wonderful organization and we and all of the sponsors are happy to be helping them help vets!
As part of this experience, we have multiple off-road organizations across Eastern Kentucky who are offering a seat for a vet for the ride. If you are a veteran and want to join this ride with Oliver Anthony and don’t have a ride, we will help you have a seat and enjoy this experience!
There is a link to register for the ride . That link is available at the ticket link and here.

There will also be a posted auction of cool accessories and merchandise with all proceeds going to help our veterans!
The ride will originate in Van Lear Ky and travel to the First Frontier Appalachian Trails’ hills and hollers in beautiful Martin County Kentucky. Folks will be on hand at the trails entrance to issue FFAT permits for those who don’t have one. Helmets in side by sides are not required. Permit prices will be posted in discussions.
Watch for more updates about length of ride, locations and ways to participate in the event discussions!
Let’s have some fun, support our vets and lift each other and our Appalachian spirits up!
