The 2nd annual Stingray's "Gotta play 'em all" best game IFPA tournament

The 2nd annual Stingray's "Gotta play 'em all" best game IFPA tournament starts on Saturday and will run to 2AM.
The doors will open at noon so give us a few minutes to get set up before we get started.
40$ + coin drop all you can qualify on best 6 games of a 13 machine bank (yes we added one)
Same as last year finals structure.
32 players or under - top 8 will compete in the finals.
Over 32 - top 16 will compete in the finals.
The 40$ will go to the prize pool and all dollars/quarters will go to the house.
Money will be added by Stingrays and Merlins like last year, depending on turnout. I will list out the $ at the end of Saturday before Sunday finals start.
If you want to help out with score keeping , please let me know - we got a few fire tables for Prime day so we are equipped!
Please be nice to my scorekeepers - especially my wife - besides putting up with my shit, she also works hard to help make trophies and cool stuff for our events. Plus she deals with me always having to run somewhere for our tournaments - thank her please 🙂
Same as last year - Stingray's Bar Grill and Arcade has plenty of food and drink there so no outside food/drinks please. Dont get silly drunk and act a fool - we dont at all anyways. but wanted to make sure to mention it 🙂.

This weekend we will play the “best game” also known as “herb” style format. If you have played at free play Florida, this is similar.
When you arrive – see me! You do NOT have play the entire time – you can leave early or show up later. Qualifying is all day Saturday at Noon – 2AM Sunday. You will pay 40$ (cash only please) to me and I’ll give ya a wristband, so we know you are paid.
Once you are signed up – you are good to play! The tournament will have 12 machines to play on. We are using MATCH PLAY for scorekeeping, queues, and standings. I will have QR codes to scan for the tournament location as well as share that on Friday afternoon. Your goal is to have the highest score accumulated to be in the top 8 or 16 finals (determined on turnout) when qualifying cuts off. On each of the machines you play on, you will receive points based on your score position at that time. Scoring starts at 100 for top score, then moves to 99 for second, 98 for third, etc - counting all the way down.
Your top SIX (6) games will count towards your total score, meaning you can have at most, 600 points if you were the top score on six machines. There is no requirement that you must play all 12 games. If you don’t play 6 at least however, you are kind of shooting yourself in the foot, as you are not getting the most points possible. The scoring/tracking sounds like its complex and hard to understand but once you start playing, I am sure you will get the hang of it. Just try to put up good scores! Of course, there will be plenty of people there to help you as needed!
You can join the wait list of these games (queue) digitally on your phone on match play. You can be waiting for only ONE machine at a time. When it is your turn, make sure the person ahead of you has recorded their score with a scorekeeper before you start. You will pay for and play ONE game when it is your turn. Once the game is over, make sure to raise your hand to get the attention of one of the scorekeepers. They will come over and verify the score with you and enter it into the system. If it is your first time playing the game, or its your best score on that machine so far, you will submit the score. If it is a lower score from what you had previously – you can choose to toss it out “Void”, you can either then decide to join the line again for the same game, try another game, or sit and cry for a while and think about how bad you just played. You can play AS MANY games as you would like given it is not past the 2AM cutoff and you have the coins to drop.
