Join us for a Poetry Workshop on Indigenous Peoples' Day!

Celebrate the power of words and voices on this important day of reflection, recognition, and creativity. On Monday, October 13th, we will host our third workshop led by Shirley Heinze Land Trust, Save the Dunes, and Poet Laureate of La Porte County, Valerie Wallace! We'll leave behind our internal media, argument, and censorship as we practice writing and mindfulness in nature in this interactive workshop.

Our workshop will include a 30-minute guided hike, writing, reading, and community building. Though the focus will be on poetry, all who wish to deepen their observation and language skills are welcome.
