About the event

Frog Catching Contest
Who’s the Best Frog Catcher in Valley City? Is it you? Now is your chance to prove it!

The Valley City Frog Jump team is calling all frog catchers to help us gather more frogs for our rental frog program at the Frog Jump. We are holding a contest the night before where local residents can bring frogs to us to be used in the rental frog pool and get paid!

We are offering $25 for (10) frogs, with a maximum of (20) frogs per family/group. Frogs must be American Bull Frogs and be at least 5” long (from snout to vent) and be in healthy condition.
The person who brings the largest frog will be crowned “2025 King (or Queen) Frog Catcher” and will be acknowledged by the announcer at the event.

Bring your frogs to Mill Stream Park at 8 PM on Saturday, July 19th to join in the fun.
