Smuggler

What does it mean to belong? In Smuggler, artist Eric Kaiser uses the prickly pear cactus, a foreign plant now rooted in Malta, to explore themes of identity, culture, and adaptation. Starting with still-life scenes, his work evolves into bold interpretations of classical artworks, including pieces from MUŻA’s collection. Step into a world where the past meets the present, and where art invites you to see familiar things in new ways.
