Contours of Being explores how nature and the built environment shape us, even as we reshape them. The exhibition brings together works that carry a sense of nostalgia – from untouched landscapes to those that question and resist exploitation.
As you move through the space, the focus turns inward. These works explore presence and memory through more intimate, often domestic settings, each holding traces of lived experience. Together, the works invite reflection on how external spaces and inner states are intertwined. When the environment is fractured, human life is also affected; our surroundings and our psyche leave lasting marks on one another. This exchange calls for resilience, renewal, and hope.
Ultimately, Contours of Being is less a collection of images than a dialogue – between past and present, human and landscape, what we see and what we feel.
