This is not your typical art class—there are no step-by-step instructions, no right or wrong outcomes. This is a space for exploration, curiosity, and trusting what arises.
In this immersive clay experience, each participant will be given a single word—random or intuitive—and asked to sculpt what that word evokes for them. There’s no need for prior clay experience—just bring a bottle of water and an openness to let the material and your imagination guide you.
We’ll begin with a short grounding exercise and a conversation about your past experiences (if any) with wet clay, then set expectations and guidelines for a safe, non-judgmental space. From there, the creative journey begins. What emotion, image, or idea does your word stir up? How does that translate into form, texture, or movement in clay?
We’ll end with a reflective circle where you’re welcome—but never required—to share what surfaced during your process.
All materials are provided. No experience necessary. Just show up, and let your hands—and your word—lead the way.
