Age 6-12***Age 5 children will be considered: child MUST be mature enough to use the bathroom independently, follow instruction and remain artfully engaged for a three-hour class with older kids. Contact Shannon to discuss further.

Each Friday, at pick-up, campers and parents/caregivers celebrate with an exhibition of works from the week
Campers will have the opportunity to SCREENPRINT and customize THEIR OWN Twig and Berry Art Studio t-shirt during camp! **early in the week, please bring in a comfy t-shirt from home for printing**
Here at Twig and Berry Art Studio, we like to provide opportunities for artists to enjoy exploring creatively. With an idea, some inspiration and proper guidance, children learn to trust themselves and build artistic confidence. In this “open studio” creative environment, this is where the magic happens and kids get into it! Practicing and learning new art skills + problem-solving and exploring art mediums that spark curiosity while having a blast = finding joy in the process of creating…the perfect artistic equation.
Kids will learn creative thinking strategies, try materials and processes in new ways, be exposed to traditional techniques and processes, be inspired by famous and current artists as well as each other. Kids have the chance to take creative risks, problem solve, collaborate, and craft from ideas that they get excited about.
Your child will bring home work that represents where they are in the artistic process. If your child hasn’t had much experience exploring media, techniques, and processes, that’s perfectly ok! They may bring home more practice and exploration work. If they already do a lot of art and have developed a preference and style, they may bring home a piece that they have put many hours into that week. Our teaching artists give lots of 1:1 guidance after the group demos and creative brainstorming activities and we tailor our art instruction to the kids in attendance.
New projects are offered each morning and afternoon camp session, providing an evolving creative environment, allowing kids to express their own emergent ideas.

9:15-9:20: Demo & project inspiration
9:20-10:30 Inside studio art making!
10:30-10:45: Snack, play & social time (outside, weather-permitting)
10:45-11:45: Inside studio art making!
11:45-12: clean-up, unwind & share
12-12:30: lunch & play/social time (outside, weather permitting)
12:30-12:45: invitation to create/demo & project inspiration
12:45-2:00: Inside studio art making!
2:00-2:15: snack/play/social time (outside, weather permitting)
2:15-3:10: Inside studio art making!
3:10-3:30: clean up, unwind & share
