Pablo Kobayashi @pablokobayashi (Mexico City, 1976) holds a Master’s in Arts with a specialization in Emerging Technologies and Design from the Architectural Association in London and a degree in Architecture from Universidad Intercontinental in Mexico City. He researches material behaviors, their morphological expressions, and spatial consequences. His work centers on emergence, where simple interactions create complex phenomena. He explores the integration of digital tools with analog methods and traditional construction techniques, incorporating the body as a processor of code. His interests include systemic thinking structures originating in the digital realm but operating independently of the computer. His current research focuses on pneumatic structures and fabric formwork for casting special concrete components. He also maintains an active academic practice, applying nonlinear pedagogical methods at undergraduate and graduate levels.
Lucía Aumann @lucia.aumann (Buenos Aires, 1992) is a critical philosophy researcher with studies at The New Centre for Research & Practice (USA, 2022–2024) and is an architect from Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico City, 2011–2017). Her work merges artistic and architectural exploration, philosophy, and biology through experimental processes, with self-organizing systems as a central framework. Her non-anthropocentric approach sees form as a dynamic expression of change. Since 2025, she has been part of the Philosophy of Computation research group at the Faculty of Sciences, UNAM.
Together, they co-teach the vertical studio Relational Modulators / Spatial Expressions at Universidad Iberoamericana, focusing on pneumatic structures and material systems.
