Basics Hoops Class with Dawn Suarez

Details from Dawn: Starting the first Monday in February I'm teaching a modified for your body ( and mine) a series of Basic Hula Hooping Classes. This is a perfect class if you have injuries or need to sit but still want to move your body.
Let's move and groove our bodies through our injuries and the bullshit that weighs us down.
I didn't find hoop dancing until I was in my 30's and that little escape weekend to Kansas City with a group of pals solidified it. I would always find my way back to the hoop. I needed an alternative to playing softball after shoulder & knee injuries. And honestly, I could not believe the magic that the hula hoop held for me and still does. Its so much more than moving your body inside a hoop, its almost meditative...its alive and sensual and playful. Once your inside the hoop the outside world can't touch you. You are everything you dream.

Hoops are provided for class and for sale after
$15 per 60 minute class or
$80 for all 4 PLUS a jumbo hoop

Wear a swimming costume or something that's easy to move in. Shoes are optional. The hula hoop like skin best if that helps anybody decide what to wear.
