Easy & Elegant Holiday Cards Workshop
Overview:
Looking for a creative way to send handmade holiday greetings to family and friends? Making and sending these easy and elegant holiday cards is a fun (and fast) activity that gives you a chance to share your creativity with loved ones near and far. This hands-on workshop will guide you through the process of designing and creating a variety of unique and creative greeting cards using materials you probably already have on hand.
What You'll Learn:
How to gather and prepare materials for your cards
Basic collage techniques
How to create your own ephemera and embellishments
Materials:
The cost of the workshop includes three blank cards with envelopes as well as access to the instructor’s collection of papers, cardboard, fabric scraps, ribbons, and other embellishments. (Feel free to bring your own photos, paper scraps, and ephemera.)
A glue stick and tape
Scissors and/or a craft knife
Cotton swabs and water
Staplers, brads, paperclips, and other fasteners
Pens, pencils, markers, and crayons
Cost: $20 per person
