Umatilla’s Miss Landing Days is a cherished tradition that celebrates the young women of our community, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their confidence, leadership, and community spirit. This event highlights the diverse talents and personalities of participants, offering them a platform to represent Umatilla with pride. Contestants with in a 25-mile radius can participate.
Little Miss Landing Days (Ages 3-6)
Open to residents or students of the City of Umatilla, this category encourages our youngest participants to shine with enthusiasm and charm.
Petite Miss Landing Days (Ages 7-11)
This division gives young girls the chance to build confidence, make new friends, and share their bright personalities with the community.
Junior Miss Landing Days (Ages 12-15)
Participants in this age group develop public speaking skills, community involvement, and personal growth while serving as role models for younger contestants.
Miss Landing Days (Ages 16-21)
The prestigious title of Miss Landing Days is awarded to a young woman who exemplifies leadership, poise, and dedication to Umatilla. The winner will have the opportunity to represent the community at local events and celebrations throughout the year. Additionally, participants in this category will have the opportunity to earn a college scholarship to Blue Mountain Community College, supporting their future educational goals.
This event is a wonderful opportunity for participants to gain valuable experiences, create lasting friendships, and be a part of Umatilla’s history.
