Let your child explore their creativity in a fun, hands-on art workshop! Each session introduces exciting new techniques and materials, encouraging self-expression and artistic discovery. Students will work on both individual and collaborative large-scale projects, experimenting with various tools and mediums. The workshop is led by Sarah S. Barzmehri, an accomplished artist, educator, and curator. She studied Fine Arts at the prestigious École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris and Graphic Design at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). With a wealth of experience, she is passionate about fostering creativity in young artists.
Workshop Highlights
Drawing: Build confidence and observation skills through quick sketches with pencil, pen, and brush.
Painting: Explore color, texture, and expressive brushwork for unique compositions.
Gel Printing: Create spontaneous, one-of-a-kind prints using slabs and acrylic paint.
Collage: Turn found materials, photographs, and text into layered, abstract stories.
Mixed Media: Combine fabric, paper, and unconventional materials to craft dynamic artworks.
Assemblage: Use elements from past sessions to create a three-dimensional sculptural piece.
