How to Start a Business and Market It on Social Media

This no-cost, single-session class is for individuals interested in starting a small business or have recently started a new business. It provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to determine if small business ownership is right for them. This class covers the elements required for a good business plan and provides an overview of the various facets involved in starting a business. This class also covers current social media trends and how to use platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, and more to market their new business.

This training is provided by the Tyler Small Business Development Center (Tyler SBDC). Tyler SBDC at Tyler Junior College is a member of the North Texas SBDC Network. Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
