The process follows three steps:
Trainees receive QPR materials and resources that include Alabama State and National referrals.
How to Question, Persuade, and Refer someone who may be suicidal. Learn how to get help for yourself or more about preventing suicide.
Up to 2.0 CEU will be provided to Alabama Social Workers,* Alabama Nurses,** Alabama EMS, and Nationally Certified Counselors as well as contact hours (up to 2.0) for other attendees after participating in the webinar at least 80% and completing the post-survey.

*The Council on Substance Abuse-NCADD is an approved CE provider by the Alabama State Board of Social Work Examiners and the Alabama Department of Public Health Office of EMS.
**The Alabama Social Work Examiners Board is a recognized provider of nursing continuing education (CE) by the Alabama Board of Nursing (ABN). Licensed nurse attendees must electronically upload the certificate to their Individual CE Record on the ABN website to claim the CE awarded.
