We are excited to host your Sourdough Bread Making Class, a hands-on experience that introduces participants to the fundamentals of artisan sourdough baking.
Attendees will learn to work with a sourdough starter, mix and fold dough, shape, score, and prepare a loaf for baking.
Pleshette Bevelle is an award-winning chef, cookbook author, and dedicated culinary arts instructor with a passion for sharing the joy of cooking. With years of experience in both professional kitchens and culinary education, she has earned a reputation for excellence, creativity, and a warm, approachable teaching style.
Each participant will leave with:
50 grams of live active sourdough starter
One ready-to-bake loaf to take home
A recipe card and care instructions
A taste of fresh sourdough during the class
Materials Provided:
All necessary ingredients
In-class mixing and shaping tools
Packaging for take-home dough
Printed recipe and starter care card
Sample loaf for tasting
What to Bring:
Participants are encouraged (but not required) to bring an apron and a medium-sized mixing bowl or container with a lid to transport their unbaked loaf.
