HOW DOES SOUND HEALING WORK?
Sound healing offers us a wonderful opportunity to embrace high healing frequencies from "pure sound", natural, not electric or synthetic.
The healing frequencies permeate the cells of our bodies, and gongs in particular have the greatest range of frequencies to move more emotional and physical stagnation. Inviting us to embrace the "Alpha "deep meditative space of healing.Transporting us from a space of imbalance to a balanced state of heightened awareness, inner peace, and deep relaxation of our mind, body, and spirit.
The purity of sound activates our body's natural self-regulating healing process. As our bodies resonate with the purity of the sound, creating balance within the energy centers/chakras. Sound frequencies facilitate shifts in our brainwaves by moving the emotional stagnation caused by traumatic "defaults" to a particular state of feeling by synchronizing our fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency to which the brainwave can attune. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves to shift from our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness). Embracing the "theta meditative state "and "delta sleep state", facilitating deep conscious and unconscious, physical and emotional healing.
Our bodies are made mostly of water and a crystalline structure, which are excellent conductors for sound and vibration. The pure tones and vibrations from the Tibetan bowls, gongs, and chimes are transmitted to our cells, which release toxins. Contra-indications
Gongs permeate the cells of our bodies on a very deep level, & It is recommended that you do not have a gong bath for the following reasons • Have a severe mental health issue and /or are taking prescribed medication for mental health issues
• Have a pacemaker or a serious/prescribed heart condition
*Are pregnant in the first and last semester
*Within 6 weeks of an operation
• Suffer from epilepsy, especially sound-induced.

• Have a hearing or sound-sensitive condition.
• Have Meniere’s Disease
• Have a metal bone implant less than 3 months post-operative
• Are under 13 years of age
