Summer Sunset Series: Crackin' Foxy

Summer performances are held at the Tupper Lake Sunset Stage in Flanders Park. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket.

All performances are free and open to the public

Shows continue rain or shine, so don’t forget your raincoat–Make a night of it, bring a lawn chair, blanket, cooler and a picnic!

Crackin' Foxy is a Saranac Lake–based ensemble inspired by early New Orleans traditional jazz, 1930’s swing, Hawaiian, and Gypsy Jazz music. This performance will include John Blevins on trumpet, Wayne Davison on sax, Jon Dallas on trombone, Jahn Harshey on tuba, and Mark Hofschneider on guitar, ukulele, and banjo. We will be focusing mainly on the instrumentalists.

Mark Hofschneider founded the band in 2010 after his wife suggested he play less clawhammer banjo and more ukulele.
