Derby Day to bring elegance and commitment for the future
The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) of North Mississippi is thrilled to announce our Inaugural Derby Day Scholarship Event on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the BNA Bank Plaza Rooftop, Tupelo.
This event will bring together the organization's Divine Nine family to continue their mission. Together, the organization produces collaborative activities and cultural programs. They take pride in the advancement of the community in civic, economic, educational, and political affairs.
Along with elegance, this initiative, 2025 Derby Day Scholarship Event, will raise money to offer college scholarships to upcoming high school seniors in Mississippi. Scholarships begin at $1000 for incoming college freshmen to help fund initial college expenses: application fee, dorm room, transportation, books, and food.
This is their groundbreaking opportunity to show up and show out as a united front, proving that when the NPHC comes together, this council can create real impact committing for the future.
The council is asking for community support. With your help, contributions from ticket sales, sponsorships and donations will directly help students achieve in our communities, promote unity, philanthropy, and service.

Each chapter of the NPHC NMS began their collective impact, contributing to marketing efforts for a successful fundraiser.
