The Professional is a series of portraits featuring Black American men wearing suits and in a work setting. Inspired by her father, Charisa Dené Jacobs, a Black American artist from Tulsa, Oklahoma, explores the complexity of Black male identity. Jacobs hopes to break societal stereotypes about racial identity and the professional world.
