Do you have the speed, agility, balance, strength and focus to complete the annual Superhero Challenge benefiting the Child Advocacy Network? This power-packed, family-friendly day of fun takes place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the beautiful POSTOAK Lodge on Sunday, August 10, 2025, where superheroes of all ages will participate in our incredible obstacle courses professionally designed by Young Lions Obstacle Course. After crawling, jumping, swinging and scrambling your way across the finish line, collect your medal and celebrate victory in the Superhero Village on the grounds of POSTOAK with snacks, activities, music and more on the meadow.
The half-mile (for ages 5 and under) and one-mile (ages 6 and up) courses will include up to 10 obstacles designed to challenge even the strongest of superheroes. And new this year, adults will also be put to the test with two race heats reserved for those ages 18 and older to see who comes out on top!
Power up before (or during) the event with a VIP brunch buffet from 10 a.m. – noon in the POSTOAK Lodge. The first heat will start at 10:30 a.m. with alternating half-mile and mile races taking place every 15 minutes until 1:30 p.m. Arrive any time during the event and stay as long as you wish.
All participants receive a t-shirt (guaranteed t-shirt size deadline is Friday, July 18); unlimited course participation; Superhero Village access including bounce houses, arts and crafts stations, bubbles and other activities; and a finisher prize. Cost to participate is $30.
Brunch tickets for anyone ages 11 and up is $60 and includes unlimited access to the brunch buffet as well as the course and Superhero Village access. For those 10 and under brunch is $30 and also includes full course and Superhero Village access.
Event grounds access as a spectator is $10 and does not include course participation or Superhero Village access. Spectators are not allowed on the course. To get access to the course, all ages must purchase a course participation ticket for $30.
This event helps spread awareness about child abuse in our community, and the proceeds help our organization provide intervention services for thousands of children involved in a child abuse investigation at NO cost to families.
