Truro School: Music and Drama Colours Evening & Film Screening

This exciting event is a celebration of the key musical and dramatic achievements of the year at Truro School, including the awarding of Middle School Colours (awarded to 5th year only, following commitment across the 3rd, 4th & 5th Year) and Sixth form Colours (awarded to Upper Sixth only, following commitment across the Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth).

Entertainment will be provided by the students and you will be offered a welcome drink on arrival.

The Colours awards will be followed by a screening of a film made by students in the drama and music departments – The Trouble with Luca.

Freya is having a tough time. Constantly rowing with her mum, fed up with her stupid paper round, and just about keeping her head above water at school. One Saturday, she quits her job in a moment of reckless abandon and heads off to the beach to mess about. What she is not expecting is to meet the curious Luca there; spirited and cheeky himself, he leads her a merry dance indeed. One day leads into the next, and throughout the next seven days Freya finds herself drawn deeper into a disconcerting world of gods and magic. Luca is not what he seems. What will Freya do when it falls to her to save the day?
