now that the national forest will be open, we can get up there and enjoy the great outdoors without traveling all day. for those who haven't been there, the trails are pretty mild. there is great camping trailside, and at a couple different campgrounds.
typically communicate utilizing baofeng handheld radios on Channel One. as time gets closer we'll communicate about food. planning to drive up Friday after work and leave Sunday midday. this does require a trail pass, you can buy day passes at El Dorado Outpost or a season pass and support the National Forest. trail maps are available through cart o tracks, or at The Outpost.
