Trion Fire Department invites everyone to come out to the Fifth Annual Community Day. The Fifth Annual Community Day will be held at the Trion Track Field from 10:00 am until 3:00 pm.
Rositas will be serving food starting at 11am.
Live Singing/Music.
There will be 2 large bounce houses with slides, corn hole, a DUI beer goggles course to drive through on a golf cart, and numerous vendors.
Trion Engine 12 will be set up with a fire attack line and firefighter gear for children to suit up to extinguish a simulator house fire.
Life Force will he flying in to spend the day/show off the helicopter.
At 2pm, Trion Fire, Hays Fire, Artium Health Floyd EMS, and Life Force will perform a live reenactment of a DUI crash scene using extrication tools. All emergency vehicles and aircraft will respond from a different location to the location of community day for a very realistic performance.
Have you ever wanted to become a firefighter or join Trion Fire? Stop by our recruit booth for more information and an application. No experience is required for entry level. Postions are available for voulnteer and paid firefighters/officers.
We'll have Trion Fire shirts and bracelets for sale. There will also be various raffles held throughout the event.
Sparky the fire dog will be making appearances periodically during the day at the State of Geogria moblie fire prevention home, you don’t wanna miss this experience. Kids will love it and it will bring a lot of fire safety knowledge to the whole family. A sign up list will be available for anyone who needs smoke alarms. They are free!
