Craft Your Own Vanilla Extract — With a View!
Join us for an elevated, hands-on experience at Blush Rooftop Terrace. Overlooking East Grand Traverse Bay, this one-hour workshop invites you to create your own 8 oz bottle of vanilla extract using Madagascar Grade A Organic vanilla beans and your choice of flavored vodka from Mammoth Distilling.
Led by Josh and Tonya, owners of Alexandra Inn, and featuring Hunter Eagle, General Manager of Mammoth’s Traverse City Tasting Room, this intimate class blends education, flavor, and a taste of Northern Michigan’s best.
During the class, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the vanilla distilling process: prepping your beans, selecting your vodka flavor, preparing your bottle, and pouring your custom blend. While crafting your extract, you’ll sip on a handcrafted cocktail of your choice and enjoy a house-made strawberry cupcake, featuring our own distilled vanilla. It’s an interactive, social experience designed to be both informative and indulgent.

- One 8 oz bottle of homemade vanilla extract
- Your choice of Mammoth Vodka flavor: Classic, Strawberry Rhubarb, Cherry, or Lavender

1. The East Bay – Lavender vodka, lemon juice, lavender & hibiscus syrup
2. La Picante – Strawberry Rhubarb vodka, jalapeño, cilantro, lime
Berry Mule – Cherry vodka, blueberry concentrate, lime juice, ginger beer
3. Classic Martini – Mammoth’s classic vodka, dry vermouth, lemon peel
