Sunday Service: "WWMWD? (What Would Mark Watney Do?)"

As much of our world has become more isolated, how many of us have found ourselves feeling a bit stranded, overwhelmed, or even held together with a bit of duct tape? This morning’s service is a story of how in the best of all possible worlds we hold onto two truths: there are unexpected resources available for us to draw upon, and we are all part of one another’s mission. Led By Rev. Beth Marshall with Coordinator Beth Strawbridge.

Rev. Beth is a life-long Unitarian Universalist and no stranger to this congregation, having served this congregation as a transitional minister for six months back before COVID. With a Bachelors in English from Bowling Green State University and a Masters of Divinity from Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago. Previously she served congregations in Southold, New York, Toledo, Ohio, Erie, PA and Cleveland Ohio. She is currently serving the congregation in Canton, Ohio as a contract minister.

She lives in Oberlin, Ohio with her husband Tony Wilgus. Together they are parents to five grown children, and 9 grandchildren.
