Basic Map Reading and Navigation

Cost: $99

Class Description: Navigating the outdoors with confidence starts with understanding maps and using essential navigation tools. This lesson will cover fundamental map-reading skills, including topographic features, scale, and orientation, as well as the basics of compass use and route planning.

Participants will gain hands-on experience interpreting maps, identifying landmarks, and practicing navigation techniques to improve their ability to travel safely and efficiently in various environments. Held rain or shine!
