It's time for another brilliant jazzy Sunday and this week we welcome a new trio to the cinema...
With John Donnelly on double bass, Mike Outram on guitar, and Sam Massey on trumpet this is set to be a great session, with focus on Miles Davis's early work such as Kind of Blue, Round About Midnight and Milestones. The trio is characterized by its innovative blend of bebop and cool jazz, showcasing a lighter, more relaxed approach. The music is lyrical, expressive and celebrated for its melodic qualities and use of modal techniques.
